Our Work
Every campaign is a story of real people helped by real action. Here is what we have done — and what drives us to keep going.
What We've Done
These are the initiatives we have successfully completed — each one a testament to what our community can achieve together.
We distributed essential food kits to underprivileged families during the holy month of Ramadan. Each kit included basic ration supplies to help families observe Ramadan with dignity and ease.
In 2024, we raised approximately ₹35,000 for this initiative, and in 2025, around ₹50,000. Over the past two years, we have successfully distributed Ramadan kits to multiple needy families.
Impact
During the devastating floods in Wayanad, our team mobilized quickly to provide emergency assistance to affected families. In 2024, we contributed ₹15,000 towards flood relief efforts to support those in urgent need.
This initiative reflected the power of unity, compassion, and quick response during times of crisis.
Support Included
On Saturday, 28th December 2024, Youth Sadaqah organised a meaningful educational support event at Urdu English Medium School, Ganjimutta. We distributed notebooks and essential stationery items to support students and staff.
For this initiative, we contributed ₹10,000 towards purchasing and distributing the materials. The school management warmly appreciated our efforts and shared their good wishes and duas for the continued success of Youth Sadaqah.
On 11th November 2024, Siri, a first-year EEE student at Yenepoya Institute of Technology, met with a severe auto accident that left her in a coma with critical brain injuries. She was admitted to A.J. Hospital and required immediate medical treatment estimated at around ₹10 lakhs.
Youth Sadaqah organised a fundraising campaign — designing awareness posters, promoting on social media, and conducting class-to-class collections. Through collective efforts, we donated ₹2,00,000 to support her treatment and stand with her family during this difficult time.
On 2nd March 2026, Youth Sadaqah received an urgent appeal regarding Mrs. Hajira Begum, a 35-year-old widow and mother of orphaned children, who was critically admitted to Owaisi Hospital, Hyderabad.
She underwent three major operations including brain haemorrhage surgery, and was placed in isolation due to MRSA infection and severe lung complications. With medical expenses exceeding ₹6 lakhs and an additional ₹8 lakhs required, Youth Sadaqah contributed ₹12,000 towards her medical expenses, standing in solidarity with her family.
